Education

  • Masters of Science in Visualization (September 2014 - May 2018)

    The Stretch Engine (September 2016 - May 2018)

    The Stretch Engine is designed to provide animators with a new way to create exaggerated motion, by focusing on changes in physical form.

    It creates this change of form by using the principles of squash and stretch. Squash and stretch is applied by scaling a limbs path of motion and creating a change in that limb’s length. Testing is done by displaying the original path of motion and the exaggerated path of motion, while providing animators with controls to visually adjust the difference between the two paths.

    Under the Weather (May 2015 - September 2015)

    During the summer of 2015 I had the opportunity to take Texas A&M's Visualization department industry course with Disney Animation. During that time I worked with five other students to create a thirty second animated short with guidance from the Disney representatives. My main roles were Project Manager and Animation Lead; I also assisted with layout design, asset modeling and asset texturing.
